Beaver Deceiver Demonstration

Join us to learn about beaver coexistence practices with experts from Sageland Collaborative, Utah State University's Beaver Ecology and Relocation Collaborative and local practitioners. Lunch provided!

When: June 27, 2025 10am- 3pm
Where: Haynes Ranch, Coalville UT. Meet at the gate on Boyer Lake Loop. (Google map link)

Who: Landowners, land managers, and agency partners interested in learning about strategies for coexisting with beavers on the landscape. 

What: We'll demonstrate how to install and maintain culvert-protection devices and discuss a variety of options for coexisting with beavers on the landscape.

RSVP: This event is limited to 30 participants. Registration is required to attend.

What to expect: Participants will meet at the Haynes Ranch gate and drive together to the demonstration project site. We'll demonstrate options to discourage beavers from damming culverts. Travel will include driving on dirt roads and 4wd vehicles are recommended.

Lunch Provided!

What to bring/wear: Sun protection, extra water, hiking shoes or muck boots, work gloves.
