You can make a direct impact by supporting our conservation projects in several ways:

  1. Qualified Charitable Distributions:

If you're age 70½ or older, you can make a tax-free donation directly from your IRA to Sageland Collaborative. These Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) count toward your required minimum distribution (RMD) and may reduce your taxable income. Talk with your financial advisor or IRA custodian to initiate a QCD gift and support conservation with a tax-smart strategy.

  2. Donor-Advised Fund Distributions:

If you have a donor-advised fund (DAF), you can easily recommend a distribution to Sageland Collaborative. Reach out to your DAF provider for instructions on how to donate.

  3. Stock Donations:

Donate appreciated stocks or securities to maximize your charitable giving and potentially avoid capital gains taxes. Contact us for instructions on how to make a stock donation.

  4. Workplace Giving:

Many employers match charitable donations. Check with your Human Resources department to see if they will match your gift to Sageland Collaborative, doubling your impact!

  5. Planned Gifts:

Consider making a planned gift to Sageland Collaborative as part of your long-term financial planning. These gifts, including bequests, charitable trusts, or beneficiary designations, help ensure that our conservation work continues into the future. Visit our planned giving guide to learn more about how anyone can leave a legacy.

Every contribution—whether financial or through your time—directly supports habitat restoration, wildlife protection, and community engagement. Thank you for turning your passion into action!
