Our volunteer opportunities allow members of the community to collect data that is vital to wildlife conservation in the West. Data collection trips in the field range from one-day excursions in the Wasatch Front to ownership of a research site for an entire field season.
You can get involved in our projects in many ways, including:
Counting shorebirds across Utah’s critical wetland habitats
Documenting pollinator observations across the state
Building beaver dam analogs (BDAs) to restore riparian areas
...and more!
Whichever project you choose, you will be making a difference for wildlife and their habitats.
It’s important to note that each project requires a different commitment level. Some require that you simply show up, while others require training and a months-long commitment.
