THIS Thursday: Boreal Toad Volunteer Training!

What: Learn how to join our Boreal Toad Project through independent surveys or scientist-led trips. At the training, you'll learn what you need to participate in 2022, including how to identify boreal toads and determine habitat health.

When: THIS Thursday, April 28, 2022, 6pm MT
 
Where: This is an online training, and registration is required. Once you register for the training, you will receive an email from Zoom with the event link.

Note: You will have the opportunity to ask questions during the web training. Consider reviewing materials on the project page before the training to have questions ready. Please note that the training will be recorded so you can refer to it afterward.


Why Is This Project Important?

Information you have collected in past years has been incorporated into the new Boreal Toad Conservation Action Plan that will be published by Utah Division of Wildlife in 2022. Through these kinds of collaborations and partnerships, the work you supports the conservation of boreal toads and other amphibians.

We're excited to expand our led survey day trips this year. As a volunteer, you also get to enjoy project benefits like:
