Training Follow-up & Resources
It was so great to see so many of our amazing volunteers in person this past weekend at our community scientist training event! Whether you were able to join us in-person or not, we are excited to dive into the Boreal Toad field season with you!
See below for all the resources you'll need to get started conserving Utah's amphibians, including training videos, our updated Boreal Toad Surveyor Packet, and copies of field forms.
Volunteer Resources
If you were unable to attend the in-person training, please start by watching our brief training videos to acquaint yourself with the project.
Community Science Resources
Site Sign-Up - sign ups are open for June day trips and all Independent Monitoring sites! Sign ups for July-August day trips and Camping trips will open on June 1st.
Optional toad backpacks can be checked out from the Hogle Zoo main entrance or the Sageland Collaborative office in downtown SLC.

Volunteer Start-of-Season Survey
Please take a few minutes to take our start-of-season volunteer survey! Your responses help us to plan effective programs that best suit your needs.
Completion of the survey enters you for the chance to win a Sageland Collaborative logo hat.
Thank You
This huge effort to conserve sensitive amphibians would not be possible without your outstanding contributions. Thank you!
