When: Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 11am-2pm

Where: Tracy Aviary’s Nature Center at Pia Okwai (1125 W 3300 S, South Salt Lake, UT)

Join us for a celebration of pollinators and queer connections to nature! There will be activities centered on pollinator conservation, tabling by amazing community organizations, and bachata workshops hosted by SLC Queer Latin Dance.

11:15-11:30 Pollinator Walk

11:30-12:00 Queer Bachata Lesson

12:00-12:30 Queer Bachata Lesson

12:45-1:00 Pollinator Walk

1:30-1:50 Costume Contest. Come strut your best costume inspired by drag AND pollinators. Win Sageland merch! How to enter: Pick any pollinator species. Sign up on-site at 1:30pm. Contestants will walk down a short runway while judges award points based on artistic creativity & biological accuracy.
