The Northwestern Band of the Shoshone Nation is looking for volunteers to join them for their Spring Planting Days at the Wuda Ogwa restoration site this April!
Join the tribe and partners to plant willows, cottonwoods, and other native plants to restore the land back to historic condition. Sign up here
When: Friday, 4/17 and Saturday, 4/18 from 10am-2pm
Where: Meet at the Bear River Massacre Site near Preston, ID (approx. 2 hour drive from Salt Lake City)
Volunteers should bring a refillable water bottle, work gloves/boots, and your preferred planting tools (shovels, trowels, etc). Snacks and water refills will be provided. Volunteers should bring their own lunch.
