Sageland Collaborative is joining our friends at Summit Land Conservancy to host a Stewardship Saturday at Dog Holler Organic Farm. With your help, our teams will focus on removing old and downed fencing across the property.
Removing damaged and unused fencing is an important step in restoring healthy wildlife habitat. Old fencing can entangle animals or block natural movement corridors for species like deer, elk, and smaller mammals that rely on open landscapes to travel between feeding and seasonal habitats. By clearing these barriers, volunteers help improve wildlife passage while making the land safer and more functional for both people and animals.
Volunteer spots are currently full, but you can learn more and join the waitlist here!
