Event Reflections & Wasatch Wildlife Watch at NHMU
Thank You for Making Our Fall Luncheon a Success!
Stephen Trimble, Dr. Nalini Nadkarni, and Wild Utah Project Director Allison Jones (from left) discuss the power and pitfalls of storytelling for conservation and science.
Our inaugural Fall Luncheon, "Exploring the Power and Pitfalls of Storytelling for Conservation and Science," was a major success. From a Treetop Barbie tale to lessons from the Bears Ears campaign to an anecdote about a sermon-giving scientist, the stories we heard from Dr. Nalini Nadkarni and Stephen Trimble continue to inspire us as we navigate our own use of storytelling in our conservation work.
We want to thank our speakers, attendees, and donors for making this event possible. Not only did we get to be part of an amazing conversation, but with your help, we were also able to meet our fundraising goal of $5,000!

Natural History Museum of Utah Exhibit: “Nature All Around Us”
We're proud to announce that Wild Utah Project along with our partners at the University of Utah Biodiversity and Conservation Ecology Lab are part of a Natural History Museum of Utah (NHMU) exhibit, "Nature All Around Us."
Images from our Wasatch Wildlife Watch contribute to the exhibit's look at the sometimes-surprising wildlife that share the spaces we work, live, and recreate.

The exhibit will run from October 19, 2019 – May 25, 2020.
Every year, Park City's massive giving event brings together all kinds of nonprofits for a day of generosity. Wild Utah Project will be part of the big day this year, and we're counting on your support!
We are so grateful to Kathleen and Peter Metalf for providing a $1,000 matching grant for donations made on November 8th. This means every dollar you donate does more for conservation!
You can visit us on the day of the event at Atticus Coffee on Main Street in Park City or show your support by donating, sharing our campaign on social media, or helping us fundraise through our page on Live PC Give PC's website.
When: November 8, 2019, 8am-10am
Where: Atticus Coffee, Books, and Teahouse (Park City)
If 150 people give only $35 each, we would meet our goal of $5,000. Schedule your donation today!
Make Your Donation Go the Extra Mile
The end of year is a perfect opportunity to make your impact go even further by becoming a monthly donor.
A monthly commitment of $10, $25, $75, or another amount gives our team a dependable base fund, allowing us more flexibility and certainty as we plan our conservation projects. In fact, though every donation is greatly appreciated, a monthly donation amount is the most helpful way to support what we do.
Additionally, a monthly donation is a way to have a consistent impact on conserving Utah's wildlife and habitat. Simply select the "monthly donation" option when you make your donation.
