Kelsie LaSharr, M.S.
Conservation Biologist
(she/her)
Kelsie started with the Sageland Collaborative team in March 2026. After growing up in Arizona and then spending a decade in Minnesota, Kelsie is excited to return to the Intermountain West to foster partnerships and implement conservation efforts that will benefit a variety of wildlife species.
Prior to joining the team, she earned a B.S. from the University of Arizona, an M.S. from the University of Minnesota, and spent nine years working as a Wildlife Biologist for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. Kelsie’s career in science and conservation has spanned a wide breadth of themes including contaminants research, human dimensions of wildlife studies, wildlife disease monitoring, and most recently, coordinating elk management efforts in Minnesota.
In her free time, you’ll likely find Kelsie reading, gardening, hunting, hiking, skiing, camping, or helping her husband with their latest home project.
