Pollinator Planting at Branch Creek
September 12, 2025 9am- 3pm
Join Sageland Collaborative to get 400 native wetland plants in the ground at Branch Creek to improve pollinator habitat! These volunteer events are a fun opportunity to cool off in the late summer heat while making an positive impact on Utah’s waterways.
All ages are welcome. Volunteers under 18 years old require a guardian’s signature and those under 15 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
When: Friday, September 12th from 9am-3pm
Where: Branch Creek, ~10 miles east of Coalville, UT (specific meetup details will be shared in a confirmation email following signup).
The project site is approximately a 1 hour drive from the Salt Lake City area. There is no cell phone service, potable water, or restroom facilities at the project site.
What to expect: We will be planting 450 native wetland plants from the Utah Pollinator Habitat Program alongside beaver dam analogs in Branch Creek. We will provide all tools and instruction. Projects typically involve walking under 1 mile over uneven, often muddy terrain.
