Pollinator Training Recording & Next Steps

Thank you to everyone who attended our Utah Pollinator Pursuit virtual training! We were happy to see familiar faces, as well as many new ones. Unfortunately, we had technical issues on our end and some who were trying to join weren't able to. Our apologies if you experienced this.

If you weren't able to attend the training for any reason, you're still absolutely welcome to join! We've included the recording and next steps below. Thank you so much for joining us.

2021 Volunteer Training Recording

Next Steps

1 - Watch the training recording if you weren't able to attend or would like to review.

2 - Visit the Utah Pollinator Pursuit page, where you can choose whether to become a Site Steward and/or an opportunistic data collector and view everything you need to get started.

3 - If you are getting involved as a Site Steward, sign up for a Monarch Site. Sites are available across Utah.

4 - Review project materials (see "Training Resources" below) as needed, including identification resources and information on downloading and using the Survey123 app.

5 - Start collecting pollinator data! Whether on a hike, in your garden, or at a Monarch Site, every sighting counts. Don't forget to include photos!

6 - Share this project, whether through including family and friends, passing along this email, offering project flyers during encounters while collecting data, or sharing on social media. Don't forget to share photos and quotes with sarah@wildutahproject.org for a chance to be featured and tag @wildutahproject and @utahpollinatorpursuit in your posts!
