On Behalf of Wildlife & Lands - Thank You!
Plus, join the Sageland team, meet our 2025 honorees, and more!
Year after year, we are continually inspired by the ways that our community shows up, and 2025 has been no exception.
With your support, we've restored habitat across Utah that benefit mule deer, monarch butterflies, northern leopard frogs, and more. From building hundreds of beaver dam analogs to counting hundreds of thousands of shorebirds across Great Salt Lake, you've made a huge impact for the wildlife and landscapes that unite us.
Our team, from left to right: Shane Hill, Janice Gardner, Frances Ngo, Austin Green, Mary Pendergast, Rose Smith, Kim Howes, Emm Clark, and Sierra Hastings.
So as another year comes to a close, we just want to extend our deepest gratitude for all of the ways that you show up. Whether you share your time and expertise as a partner or volunteer, or if support the future of conservation as a donor, it takes our entire community to make this work possible - thank you.
We can't wait to share what's in store for 2026!

Join an iNaturalist ID Party!
Community scientists made an outstanding number of observations on iNaturalist this year, including over 16,000 pollinators and nearly 8,000 herpetofauna! However, many observations still need to be ID'd.
Join our friends at the Utah Native Plant Society, Natural History Museum of Utah, and Utah Pollinator Pursuit for an iNaturalist Identification Workshop on December 20th to help get these observations to "research grade" status!
