Join the Sageland Collaborative Team
We’re excited to share that we're hiring a Uinta Basin Rare Plant Coordinator! This role will work closely with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and a variety of stakeholders to implement recovery strategies for rare plants in Utah's Uinta Basin. Application deadline is July 24, 2026 by 5pm MT.
Get Involved in Wildlife Conservation
It's July and we're in the thick of our busy field season! From uploading photos of pollinators and amphibians to iNaturalist to joining us on a restoration day, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved with Sageland Collaborative.
Utah HerpSearch: Help us put Utah's amphibians and reptiles on the map by adopting a Choose Your Own Adventure site this summer.
Fence Restoration: Join us at an upcoming volunteer day to remove woven wire fencing to improve migration pathways for mule deer and pronghorn.

An Evening of Shorebirds & Art
You're invited to join us on July 23rd for the Sci-Art Gallery Opening Reception! View works on display by our inaugural Sci-Art Cohort alongside partner organizations, tune in for a presentation on the importance of the Intermountain West Shorebird Survey, and enjoy light refreshments!
Unable to make it to the reception? No worries! Artwork will be on display at the Sorenson Unity Center gallery from July 23rd through August 19th.
