A little bird told us to say...THANK YOU
Donors and Volunteers,
I wanted to take a moment to thank you on behalf of our team at Sageland Collaborative. I know it's Giving Tuesday, but we've been so grateful for all you've given over the last few months and wanted to take the opportunity to express our gratitude.
Whether you've joined us by volunteering or donating, you've made big things possible in 2021.
Just a few things we've done this year include:
Developed an exciting new project to conserve amphibians and reptiles (coming Spring 2022)
Released beavers to continue healing degraded western streams
Launched the Rosy-finch Working Group to harness the combined efforts of groups working for rosy-finch conservation across the West
Published large-scale findings based on Wasatch Wildlife Watch data
Built important partnerships for Great Salt Lake conservation
Celebrated 25 years of conservation by changing our name
Added a Stream Ecologist to our team to deepen our work restoring unhealthy stream habitat
A great blue heron gets up close with a wildlife camera on our Wasatch Wildlife Watch project
Scientists install rosy-finch feeders enabled with tracking tech at Alta, Utah
Beavers await release on a stream they will help heal as part of our restoration work
None of this work would be possible without your generous sharing of time and resources. We're looking toward an even bigger 2022, and we can't thank you enough for all you do.
Wishing you a wonderful start to your holiday season,
Joshua Wood
Executive Director
