"The Magic of Pollination" Web Presentation
Mark your calendars! On June 10, tune into our FREE online event and be entranced by the magic of our native pollinators.
You won't want to miss this. Read below for details.
A Closer Look at the Intricate World of Utah's Pollinators
Have you ever wondered how pollination works, which plants need pollinators and why, or which local animals are the world’s most evolutionarily important pollinators? Or what's being done in Utah to conserve pollinators and the plants that depend on them?
Our presentation will answer these questions and more. The world of pollinator insects and associated pollen plants is expansive and dazzling, and we want to share a unique window into that world through the eyes of two state experts, Mindy Wheeler and Amy Sibul.
What: Learn about the magic of pollination in Utah from top experts in the field working toward the conservation of sensitive pollinators and native plants. If you attended the Utah Pollinator Pursuit training, this will give you an even closer look at the pollinators and habitats you're conserving.
When: Wednesday, June 10 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM MDT
How: Please register beforehand at this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_2r6aiS38TAWpEgxn9UBgdw. After you register, you'll receive a confirmation email with information on how to join.
If you're joining us from a smartphone, make sure to download the Zoom app beforehand.
In addition, there will be a Q&A during the event, so please feel free to bring any questions you have about Utah's pollinators or the Utah Pollinator Pursuit project.
