Pollinator Web Training TOMORROW!
With the weather getting warmer and plants of all kinds bursting into life, it's almost time for our Pollinator Pursuit Project to begin! We're grateful for the many dedicated volunteers who are ready to conserve Utah's sensitive pollinators.
To join this important project, attend our 2020 Pollinator Web Training tomorrow, where we'll discuss how to:
Recognize all stages of monarch butterflies
Identify milkweeds
Use a new protocol for gathering bumble bee occurrence information

What: Training & Q&A for collecting the data that is so crucial to the well-being of Utah's bumble bees and monarch butterflies.

Note: If you can, please use the instructions below to download the Survey123 app prior to the training. That way, if you have any issues or questions, we can make sure to address them during the Q&A (though it's not required)!
How to Download Survey123
Step 1: Download the free "Survey123 for ArcGIS" app by searching in the App store on your phone (this is for both monarchs & bumble bees). The icon is green with a check mark over a notebook.
Step 2: Follow the prompt to download the Survey123 field app. Don't worry about signing into the app or entering an email.
Step 3: Close the app. Then, click on the link https://arcg.is/1jDbDi or type it in your browser. Click "Open in the Survey123 field app."
Step 4: Your phone will open up the app, and “Utah Pollinator Pursuit” will appear and download.
Step 5: Select "Utah Pollinator Pursuit." Then, click the blue "Collect" button to collect steward site or opportunistic data anytime!
